CA up to "new" tricks

JBC & Assoc. is trying to collect on an old check from 94..sent DV letter - no response. Filed complaints with FTC, NJ Consumer Affairs, FL dept of Financial Services, etc. Last call from JBC a few days ago...haven't been taking them - letting them go to answering machine. Anyways - strange numbers showing up on Caller ID - A wireless number with a NJ Area Code?? Hmmm?? Also calls from a number in British Columbia - don't know anyone in BC and when I ask to take a message (they are calling for my wife), they respond "No, that's OK. We'll call back later" Am I being paranoid??? I searched for the numbers on google, etc. and nothing comes back.
