HELP! Lawyer called/sueing me/ $ by Monday!

I had a lawyer call me today saying this CC company was sueing me for non payment. The balance is $7000 but they will take $5000, but I have to pay this by Monday, July 28. They would not allow me a couple of extra days to get the money. We have NO money, husband took a paycut for this job, two kids, I stay home because if I did go back to work we couldn't afford daycare for two kids. What do I do? I have absolutely no resources. Can they garnish my wages? I don't work, so will they garnish my husbands? (we have a joint bank account) We also have both names on our vehicle, can they do anything with that? (it's a lease) My hubby has nothing to do with this credit card, it was done before we were even married, so his name is not on it. What is a judgement about? Somebody please help me.
