Some creditors, like Discover and Crap1 will sue over ANY amount. Most will not bother to sue for amounts under $1000. Besides, IF they sue and you show up in court, it ruins their little party of getting default judgments - pisses 'em off in some cases - especially if they're after a time-barred debt !!
