help I am in over my head and the months behind in credit card debt are overwhelming me physically and mentally someone told me to just stop paying them and youll get off the hook is this true it sounds too easy to be true what will happen if I do so ??????? is there a methodical process behind this ??????? are there things you should and shouldnt do when you go this route is it a series of steps???????? what are they ??????????does it cost more in the end?????? will this be a big mistake if I am willing to scar my credit history just for the freedom to walk away from this debt its 15,000 in credit cards and I live in connecticut as it stands right now all I have left over at month send after paying the essentials is 45.00 yes I did lose my good job 6 months ago and took a 875.00 loss per month please help with info!!!!!!!!!
