I'm trying to get this straight. If i file SOL on something that is SOL (regardless of state), does that mean that i no longer have to pay it or that it will just get taken off of my credit report? And if its off the credit report will it show up later that its still unpaid or that its a write off? Does a write off look bad on your credit report?
