Don't know much about Oklahoma law, but in general I would say that Citibank may be likely to sue you over that much money. You've got more than two years to go before SOL runs out if it's 3 years...that gives them plenty of time. If it were a couple of grand, they might just write it off but I've dealt with Citibank and they are nothing nice. Even their out of SOL debts resurface often in the form of SCAMCO!

The items can remain on your credit report for up to 7 years from the time of your first delinquency (11/2002) unless you claim bankruptcy, in which case they can remain for 10. Not likely you would get them off your credit report during that window between the SOL running out and the 7 year reporting period, though, if they are accurate negative items.

Even if you pay them, they will still show as paid collections...7 years measured I *believe* from the time that your last payment is made if payment restarts the clock in OK...I'll leave that one to Why Chat or LadynRed or Keyser!
