EACH TIME you FILE it goes on your credit report. Each filing is a matter of public record, whether you go thru with it or not. If its dismissed, that should also be noted, but its quite possible to have multiple FILINGS showing.

Risk a judgment ? Guess that depends on what state you're in and what you risk losing.
