My bf moved from Australia to US he left all his debt behind, I doubt they can collect anything from you. When we decided where we would live Aus or US we determined who had more bad debt, he has 30,000 I have only 17 so we are staying here. If it would have been the other way around I would have ditched student loans and moved to Australia
