If he account was a business account,and was not listed on your credit report until it defaulted,then it is a question of HOW the application was signed, and by whom, and in what capacity.

A corporation is a seperate entity, and only an officer of the corp. can fill out and sign an application that is legally binding on the corp.

Who else signed the application?
If you did not give YOUR ss# on the app. you can argue you are NOT responsible for the defaulted account. Did you EVER make any payments yourself, from your OWN funds, with a personal check?

You DO NOT want to "buy time" you NEED to defend yourself with ALL your conviction that YOU are NOT liable in any way for this debt.
