Thank you WhyChat, LadyinRed and Scott and everyone else who gave me great advice. I WAS a victim of Midland Credit Company but after following all of the advice that I received I am elated to be able to report that their "redating" has been taken off all of my credit reports. It took some time and effort on my part but the payoff is great. I have even been contacted by the law firm in Chicago about a Class action suit they are pursuing and am cooperating with that. Midland had redated an account that had run the SOL. I sent all the letters and mailed them the way you suggested. The results are in.....it works. Thank you again.
