It depends, if you are not sued before you move,and you leave a forwarding address, they can only file against you in Ca. but they must serve you in Ariz.If you get served with a Ca lawsuit after you move, you can answer with a denial of all claims and request a change of venue. If they file sut against you in Ariz. they must abide by the Ariz. SOL. If they get a default judgment against you in Ca.,in order to have it effective in Ar.,they need to prove they couldn't serve you in Ar. (if you have proof that you provided a forwarding address that prevents any Ar enforcement)
