What makes you so sure you have been sued if you haven't been served papers?? Collection agency letters saying they will "help you" avoid a judgment are a LIE.

Call your local Court House and see if anything has been filed, even a small claims court case needs to have proper notice given to you.

Of course, there is always the possibility that they lied on the paperwork about serving you notice, in which case you need to find out when the hearing is.

The validation stuff is good for YOU to file suit for vioations, but it is not part of a defense.
