Creditors can't sieze squat unless they sue you an win first. They'll go after non-exempt assets, but levying bank accounts and wage garnishment are the easiest ways to slam you.

Judgments have no bearing on BK, except to eliminate them.

There really is no set 'criteria' for CH 7 except that you want your disposable income number as low as possible, you need to be current on payments for secured loans, and you don't have any non-exempt assets to protect.
