how can a bank refuse to take you off a joint account, if it was requested before a freeze ? i know cc wont until the acct. is paid in full.people getting a D do it all the time. i did it, well my dh did it with 2 differet banks. i did have my own individual acct. and we had 2 joint accts. i told him to take me off the joints when i knew i would default on my cc's because of my business failing. he just signs the cks for me or gives me cash.anyone here maybe shed some light onto why the bank wouldnt remove her from the joint? before the freeze ?
