I have creditor that keeps bouncing an account between himself and the oc, so when i dispute itwith TU, it is not on the report as the one I dispute, as not mine,then a week later it changes back. This one has been a real PITA for me. It is a dental bill ($ 700 )which I was contacted about last summer by the receptionist for a root canal on my DH which was never completed, when I spoke with her I gave her a debit card payment for 200 and she agreed that the account was paid in full as the job was never done. No I didn't know any better to ask for it in writing. Anyway I have since learned a lot and decided to repair our credit and to my surprise it was there on my Dh's report. Anyway it had been assigned to a CA before I paid the 200.00 and they are reporting it at the original 700 on TU the other two have deleted it entirely, not 500. Anyway I guess I want to know what to do next should I validate it with the CA, or dispute wrong balance for both the OC and the CA so I can catch whichever one is on the report at the time , or do I write a letter to TU? I am tired of this game. I know this is a confusing post I am sorry I am so frustrated at this point.
