Greetings, I'll try to keep this short. I desperately need help to get this company called "Camco" off my back. Scott if you read this, I have seen some of your post at ripoffreport.com and thank God I did. I need to know how to write a cease and desist letter. Please don't tell me to write the BBB or the Illinois AG office or something because I can tell you right now it won't do a Damn bit of good! These people started contact with me 3 days ago at my current place of employment of 9 years. They say I have a debt with Bank of America from nearly 15 years ago when I was age 17. I HAVE NEVER HAD DEALINGS WITH B. OF A.!!! My employer frowns on Calls at work and these are the first calls I've had there in 9 years. This company has also Called me at home (my number is not listed) and the "agent" is very badgering. Saying things like they checked my credit and see it is Excellent and they are going to put this debt on my report if I don't pay up. They say I owe them an amount less than $1000.00 but they will cut it in half if I pay now. They also say they have been sending letters to me for months (and that is a lie). I asked for proof of this debt because it was not mine, and if only 60% of their information on where I have lived and worked since I was fourteen was correct, then how could I know this alleged debt was accurate. At first they said they would fax it over, but then the agents superior came on the line and to my disbelief they started playing some sort of "good agent, bad agent" scenario. The superior asked the other agent "was the debt reduction approved" saying "I don't think we are going to be able to offer you a reduction on this debt." And I said you are not listening, this is not my debt. Any way, on the next call to me, I tell him to stop calling or I will have them sued for harassment and he says "ooh I'm shaking in my boots" can you imagine this? A grown man acting this way. Now he calls me tonight again, and says "what are you gonna do about this debt?", I laughed and said I'm doing nothing! He then proceeded to make fun of my last name, because he thinks it's funny. By this point, day 3, I was very distraught and just told him to F*** O**. It honestly takes a lot for me to be like that with anyone on the phone, but you just don't understand stress this person is putting on me in a time in my life where a lot is going wrong with family and friends, both medically and emotionally. If anyone out there in the world can help me with advice, I would be most grateful. My E-mail is goremasterx@netscape.net Thank you and God Bless.

P.S. If anyone thinks it is funny that I have given my email address and want to take advantage of that too, I will have you know it was set up just for this thread and will be canceled shortly! Thank You.
