I would fax and certified mail return receipt requested a cease and desist (or SOL? or dispute/verification? Scott, help lol!) letter highlighting the fact that you are not permitted to receive calls at work. Do it tomorrow if you can. I think Scott can probably post the contact info...I don't have it anymore as I scared them away after only two phone calls ha ha ha. Make sure you do it from a fax machine that will give you a receipt and follow up the same day with a certified mail return receipt requested.

Also, check your credit reports RIGHT AWAY. These bastards think it's OK to start pulling hard inquiries on your credit reports, and if they have, they are in violation of federal law and you can sue the blue blazes out of them. They don't have what's called permissible purpose to look at your credit report.

Do NOT talk to them by phone at all anymore. Keep records of names, times, dates and phone numbers of every attempt they make to contact you. Just start a notebook that you update every time a new incident occurs.

While you are at it, DO go ahead and complain to the FTC, the BBB and the IL attorney general as well as the AG in the state you live in. The more complaints against these scum-sucking bottom feeders, the better!
