I am in that position right now. My husband and I just got married, our combined total unsecured debt is 75,000! We dont have any assets, rarely more than 500 free money in any of our accounts. We have been ignoring the calls for 1 yr 3 months! We are waiting to be sued basically. We don't want to file BK. We are hoping we will be judgement proof but are still trying to figure that out now. Good luck and $15,000 is a drop in the bucket, I wished ours was so little. Keep paying if you can!
