Guess what CA did?

I have been negotiating a payment plan with a CA. I had a telecheck ready for today. I put a stop on it and contacted the OC. I asked the OC if the CA purchased the account from them, they said NO! They are collecting it for them. How funny! I straight up asked the CA if they purchased the account from the OC and they said YES. I have a witness, my husband was listening the conversation when I made the telecheck. I called the OC and told them the CA lied to me and I stopped the check until they can provide me with the payments I agreed to in writing (which the CA refused the first time I asked) I put the OC on notice that its collection company had shady practice and I wont releast that payment until I get papers about the payment plan we worked out. They said they would call the CA for me and tell them to get me my stuff! They will not let me negotiate the payment with them, only the CA. Thats fine but I want it in writing. I can't just give the money away to some yahoos with no written agreement. The OC said they completely understood my concerns and will take care of it. Hmmmmmmmm. Well see, until then the telecheck will be held! Can I get the CA on a violation? What kind of leverage to we have now?
