Go to www.lawdog.com and click on state laws. Then, click on your state and it'll take you to links governing both collection agencies and, any state specific debt collection laws. Tx. has it's own State Finance Cose and it's my understanding that OC's are required to validate debts in Tx. As this question at www.creditnet.com
There are a few Texans theer who've used state law to their advantage.
