Yeah.. NCO plays that nasty little trick of creating a bogus "xxx county case number". They pulled that one on me and I was worried they really had file a case in my county court. However, just before I was going to call the courthouse, I pulled out their last letter and lo and behold the 'reference number' on the top of their letter was EXACTLY the "case number" they tried to scare me with !! They are slime and think they can get away with this because they're so big and no one will tackle them with enough fines to make them hurt !
