They are suing on the original contract? For the full balance that was due when the car was repossessed?

If so, just state that the car was repossessed on such and such a date, and therefore the installment loan contract is was made null and void.

If they are suing on the deficiency,request an accounting of the deficiency figures, along with the legal documentation required under Florida law for repossession and resale and claim of deficiency.
