Even in a Community Property state, I don't believe they can go after HIS accounts if your name isn't on them. However, each CP state's laws differ on what constitutes separate property/assets/debts and the exceptions vary. You'd really have to look to your state statutes to be absolutely sure. Which CP state are you in ?
