Let's say Mazda and Ford are the same.
Why in the complain says that plaintiff (Ford Motor Company) purchased the Retail Installment Contract?

Car sold in auction for--- $ 2700.00
Lawsuit filed for -------- $10871.86 (plus interests, court costs, and attorneys's fee)
What about the payments my ex-husband made befor e the repo took place?

I am looking for a way out of this?
