They should be calculating from what was left owing on the contract less what they sold it for, plus all thier fees. Contest the amount - ask for a FULL ACCOUNTING of how they arrived at that first number. You can still demand validation, if you haven't already, and that accounting is part of validation - PROVE the alleged amount owed with every transaction on the account. Hard to say why they say the Plaintiff 'purchased' the RISA, could just be legalese, but I don't see that there's any contradiction - FMC owns Mazda - samo-samo....
