Friday, July 25, 2003 I had my car repossessed for being 2-1/2 months behind. I called immediately when their office in CA opened only to be told the repo dept. did not open for another 2 hours. Once I finally got to talk to someone, I was told it would take about 3 days to get the amount I need to pay to get my car back. Yes...3 days!! They said they didn't get information from the company that repoed me. Well, I called them and they faxed it already plus they faxed it again for me. Then I was told that it takes 24-48 hours to be processed in their computer...what baloney!!! Well, I called again on Monday after I got home from work and had kids settled so I can hear. After spending 15 minutes on hold, I was told that even though their hours are 10-7 they shut down the office at 6:45 and they could not help and to call again tomorrow. It was 6:45. So, I called again on Tuesday and the person that was responsible for my file hung up on me...I called back and was hung up on again....I called again and this time asked for the manager and got hung up on again....I called one last time and finally got someone else on the phone and asked for the manager...who conveniently was in a meeting for the rest of the day. On Wednesday, I called again and asked for the manager and was told he was off for the day. By Thursday, I was so angry I had an attorney call and try to get the information for me which of course they would not give to him. I called a few hours later and wouldn't you know it the woman that has my folder was finally nice to me. All i wanted was the amount I owe so I can make arrangements to get my car back. Sorry for the story but I have three questions....1) The total amount due includes my next month's payment...can they do this since it is not even due yet, 2) They sent me a Notice to Recover vehicle by certified mail....it was in my mailbox but I never signed for it...can I use this in any way? and 3) Is there anything I can do against them for taking 7 days to give me a total of the amount due? I have had to rent a car to get to work because if i did not show up for work i wasn't going to have a job. (I have 5 children and have been out a lot for their illnesses)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
