Just A Advance Thank-you to any And All Helpful
Responces.
I live in Phoenix,Arizona and I have A Credit Card
Debit for Approx $3000 W/Citibank Visa in which I today recieved a court Summons Via A Local Law Firm.
The Summons Claims I have 10 days to reply or Appear in court or else
Long story short 8 mos Prior I Had Been Unemployed for about 9 mos at the same time My wife Had also lost her job I have been Employed since Nov but I took $10,000 Pay cut. For the Last 9 mos we have been trying to keep afloat with All our Living expenses. My Wife will be resuming her Job as teacher in Sept. Now My Question :How Should I Respond to the Summons
or Court Appearnce we Are Not Yet In A position to
pay off this debt and we would Like to make Payment arrangement with the company to avoid Garnishment?
Law Firm Sent us A letter asking for a "token payment of good faith in any amount to show our willingness to settle this debt" yetWhen we sent $20.00 the check was
returned.Again What Can I Do ? Thanks Again for any advice or help
