Damn right its harrassment !

"§ 806. Harassment or abuse [15 USC 1692d]

A debt collector may not engage in any conduct the natural consequence of which is to harass, oppress, or abuse any person in connection with the collection of a debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section:

*****(5) Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number."

They caused the phone to ring repeatedly, even if you didn't talk to them, its a violation - and utterly stupid. Before I moved and got an unlisted number, there was one CA that would call as many as 25 times a day !!!!!

My pc is my 'answering machine" and the software I use logs every single call, including caller id. So, if I decide to sue these morons, I have a hard record of their violations.
