equifax woes....

About a year ago, i decided to get my reports... Well Equifax had 4 reports on me and i had an average score of 480 (terrible)... Today, I have 2 files and a score in the low 700s after correcting mistakes..
My question is, after time and time again requesting to have 1 file, it has never been corrected...I was told today that this can't be done because there is too much information in my files...(12 accounts)... this sounds like hogwash to me.. as i have a judgement on my report from 3/96 that they have the wrong date on... (won't correct either)....
i feel i should send a "intent to sue" letter.... any suggestions.... anyone have this problem before....
