I am filing ch 7 and the lawyer applied the 2775.00 exemption to my car because its market value is 5000.00 but I want to apply the exemption to my other vehicle that is paid off and use the "redemtion" to keep it, because if I am filing chp 7, I won't loose the car and continue to make the payments on it, correct? like the house, so can i tell him to apply the 2775.00 to the other vehicle...did I make sense?
