I am new to this site but I hope I can get some advice. A man has been calling my house, work and even my mothers house about a check I wrote to Bradlees more than 5 years ago. The check was paid off in the amount of 680.00 but I have no proof of this due to the fact that my bank account has been closed and so has Bradlees. All of this happened in Connecticut I now live in California. This guy has told me I am a parasite that needs to pay off her debts and called my mom's house in CT and said I have "one foot on a banana peel and the other in a jail cell". I asked if I could be given some time to try and find proof of payment for this debt but this guy is very persistent Calling my work at 8:31 Am everyday as I am arriving and making my day start off wrong. I understand I can request them to stop calling me by mail but how can I prove I have paid this debt?
