Uh oh...I am wondering now if I didn't mess up. I just looked back at my C & D letter. Wherever I got my "sample" letter from is worded to cease and desist collection efforts. I have seen some samples that tell the CA to cease and desist all contact period. Did I goof up? I don't know that I want to let on to this jerk that I have been getting his phone messages necessarily. He is calling and leaving messages on my cell phone which is a) a private, unlisted number and b) I am considerin those messages another violation (third party contact) as there is nothing to indicate that the number is mine, he is leaving very detailed messages instead of just his name and number and there is no indication that a "third party" is not receiving those contacts. HELP!
