Sorry for not getting back but is quite a distance from us and we made a day of it.

OK I'm not exactly sure what happened today, if it went in our favor or not, but here's what happened.

Got to the court early and gave the judges clerk our file.

We get in there and the judge asks Asset's attorney how long she thinks it will take. Only 30 seconds your honor. Judge says good he'll take our case first. Judge asks her to make her comments and she says she has none and sits down.

Then our turn, actually hubbys I couldn't go up with him. Boy I thought we were had cause the judge started barking at hubby this is state court it has nothing to do with federal Laws (I had the FDCPA, Wollman, and Spears material in front of everything else not a good idea) Anyway the judge said he was going to postpone the hearing for 2 weeks so we could find an attorney. Then he asked the attorney if she had received what we had handed him and of course she hadn't so the judge lays the law down to hubby that he can't accept the filing if the attorney didn't have full copies of it. Hubby got flustered and wasn't sure what I had in the files (Big Note Book Full)So I was allowed to go up. As I was pulling out the copys the judge ordered us to go outside to exchange the copies and that the attorney was to let him know if all copies were turned over. I had duplicates of everything except the two letters that were sent to her and she agreed she didn't need those.

We were only outside a few minuets and when we went back in the atty told him she got everything except two of her own letters which she said was ok. Then she asked the judge if the 2 week postponement would start from today. I still don't know what happened (unless he continued to read the file while we were out of the room) but the judge flat told her there wasn't going to be any postponement that he had made his discision! That was it! He never said another word to my husband about getting himself an attorney nothing!

What his decision is I don't know. The Attorney looked like the wind was knocked out of her sails but then I'm sure that is just wishful thinking on my part.

Anyway outside (she has two more cases for us)she made a very odd statement, something about we probably wouldn't hear from her again and I would swear she said on the other two cases, again probably wishfull thinking, and apologized for making us come so far and wished us a safe trip home.

So I really don't know what it all means but I guess we'll get notice of his decision by snail mail. Since he didn't say anymore to Hubby I am praying it went in our favor.

Much thanks to all of you who responded and a very special special thank you to Whychat and Keyser Soze, Ladyinred, Scott, so many many wonderful, caring folks here!

OK Kiddos, enough, as usual I rattle! But again I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for the support found here!!!
