You can sue for FCRA violations in 'any competant court of jurisdiction' - which basically means you can sue them from Small Claims (except you can't get damages there) all the way up to Federal court. Some states do add their own set of damages and violations you can sue for under the FCRA. The FCRA, however, does allow for $1000 PER VIOLATION.
