Take nothing for granted with these pig-plops, sounds as if something changed the judge's mind. yes it's state court but federal regs have a habit of trumping state rules. Tough for them.
The enemy didn't need to have your case file in the first place, it's not their business. If they want something from you, let them file Discovery on you, except that costs these bums some of their precious money. Your strategy and legal briefs aren't up for grabs anyhow, that's your business. Keep in touch. Sounds like a win, let's hope so.

Did the judge issue a ruling or state when he would? Were you handed anything by the court clerk such as a paper indicating court's decision or if no decision made, the next court date? Unusual, they usually serve you with these prior to your departure.
