As for the deed, it was a Quit Claim adding my husband as husband and wife. It was done at the time of refinancing. I called the recorder of deeds office a few weeks ago and asked about the wording on the deed and it had no mention of anything other than my and husband's name as husband and wife. Should I contact a lawyer and have a new deed done? The last time I contacted a lawyer about this Why Chat, he said it was not needed. I get so many different opinions from different lawyers (and believe me, I called many for free counciltations) I don't know where to turn for help anymore. If I can still get the property deeded T b/t/ E even though it does have a loan on it now, I will to it this week. Just say GO FOR IT!
