Bankruptcy or CCCS?

I have about $50,000 in credit card debt. I have no assets and do not own a home. My family is strongly encouraging I consult CCCS, but am wondering if this would just be a waste of time and lots of money. I live in Georgia. If I pay off the debt in 5 years with CCCS, will this look better than a bankruptcy?
