Can inquiries on CR be removed?

First of all I would like to thank all of you on this board for posting infomation that is so helpful. I have been able to reduce the negatives reported on my CR from 7 to 4 and I think I can get rid of 2 more. My question is in regard to CR inquiries. I have more than 10 listed and they are really bringing my score down. I have 14 positive tradelines and 4 negatives but my score is still 601. Any suggestions? Thanks.
