This worthless scribbler knows enough to make a fool of himself but for that which it is indeed worth - and stop me if you already know this:
Libel is a threat slung around by those who realize that the words of others have flown too close to their vault of sins. Everyone thinks they've been libeled and indeed they have. Look, going into detail might compromise me but suffice to say that a group of most interesting types have been libelling and slandering me for years.
I could have had several judgements against these bacterial boobs but it's more fun to watch them infect themselves. Something like watching two scorpions in a jar, desert fun for the whole family.
Here's the point: Commonly known is that if someone has spread false fables concerning you and done so with malice aforethought then you have been slandered and/or libeled.
No, no that is not unfortunately the total criteria to collect damages. False info maliciously spread comprise two elements necessary to prove the case, the third being actual loss of earnings and or assets.
The third element is not quite so easy to prove and so doing can take many years. As you know, legal jousts are wars of attrition. Hopefully the other guy runs out of money for lawyers before you do. Did the parties lose money as direct result of your statements and writings? Or did other factors contribute to their reversal of fortune? This is a thicket into which wade lawyers resigned to a long arduous fight over minutiae. Perhaps not quite so bad as they'd like you to believe. Slanderously, Keyser Soze PS - This lowly writer has been having fun for sometime by defaming the previously mentioned dopes who have been slandering me. All that I've published is of course the truth, painted in black and white terms full in use of the subjunctive. With time's passage, the scumbucket predators inevitably color in the monochromatic sketches I've painted of their crimes, so to speak. Auto-asphyxiation in the figurative sense is inevitable, their avarice having long precluded all rational thought. Keep in touch, always nice to hear from a fellow warrior.
