Hi Lady,

I think you're right. In Florida, if the employer doesn't comply within the legal time frame, then the employer has to pay the garnishment. Kentucky may impose jail time on the employer for either firing the employee for garnishment or for not complying with the garnishment.

Also, the employee has to be served with the notice of garnishment and directions for objecting to garnishment.

This employer is another fine example of the Peter Principle in action. She definitely rose to her level of incompetence.

Suprised she doesn't work for our local courthouse or government.
