Hang in there and whatever you do, don't feel sorry for her! She sold you down the river and was fully aware of what she was doing. Feed her to the wolves or trust me, you'll end up being the one that pays dearly for at least the next seven years of your life. It will affect your quality of life more drastically than you can imagine.

Just as a practical tip--in addition to keeping the papers, I would even go so far as to get several copies made and have two or three people you trust hold on to those copies for you, or even put a copy in a safe deposit box. Observer is right, you won't ever want to take a chance on NOT having those papers.

While you're at it, get them scanned in as images (Kinko's if you don't have a scanner) and e-mail the scans to yourself and to those same two or three friends.

Good luck and try to stay strong. I know it's hard, but never forget that you have the truth on your side.
