The original default date (when you stopped paying) and the Judgement date (when you lost the lawsuit by default) are 2 different things. If you had a 6 year SOL for being sued and they waited until that time was almost up to sue...They did not add time to your credit report but, added a new entry. The judgement goes under public records (or whatever the CRAs are calling it now). The original bad mark will end in 7 years from the time you missed payment..The new bad mark should end in 7 years after the judgement.
