Quit being scared. Peole get sued by the thousands everyday. It's no big deal if you deal with the thing the right way. We've told you what you need to do. This is one more PIA but, you have to deal with it. There are laws and procedures to help fraud victims. What Citi does or doesn't do to your rommie is none of your concern. Just cooperate with them and let the process take its course.
You've not done a damn thing wrong.Someone you trusted stole from you and that's not your fault. I'll guarantee you that your report won't be the first one the police have taken under these circumstances and won't be the last. Citi won't be shocked to see a police report either.
There are hearings going on right now over the new Fair Credit Reporting Act and Sen. Shelby and Sen. Sarbanes {the 2 ranking memebrs} have absolutely reamed the CRA's over making ID fraud eaier for victims to handle. You are not alone. So, quit being scared and get proactive and stick around. You'll get great advice from this site.
