Based on what your saying, BK7 sounds like the best way to go. Once it is discharged, then it is over and you can move on with your life. There is no sense in you putting yourself through all of this. Sure its a negaitive but in a couple of years, things will be back to normal. People have things happen in their life that are out of their control. That is what the BK laws are there for so use them.

When I filed BK7, the best night of sleep I had had after years of trying to deal with the credit card companies and their thugs the collection agencys, came the night I filed. It finally meant an end to the phone calls and letters and all the constant worry.

I don't no about the job thing, but I wouldn't worry about it. It is what it is. You will be able to deal with it trust me, even if you think you can't. And if THEY have a problem with it, then screw them. Life is too short to let someone pass judgement on you in such a way that you allow it to affect your life in a negative way.

You have probably always wanted to be a teacher and if something happens to your current job because you filed, then I promise you that there are plenty and I mean plenty of other great teaching jobs out there for you. So don't worry about it. Things ALWAYS have a way of working themselves out.
