PR request to CRA's

I sent Experian a PR request asking how they verfied 2 negative accounts and the contact information for these negative accounts. I sent it on 8/6 and they sent a response on 8/8 telling me to contact the creditors myself and they have verfied it. When I sent the PR request I also sent them parts of the FCRA showing I had a right to know. What do I now? Is that legal?
