I requested a reduction in my %age even with a $3K balance on the card and they moved it from 23.99% to 16.99%. I told them that my other cards were charging me between 12.99% to 18% and I was going to move the balance to a lower rate card if they weren't able to lower. Hopefully, you have good luck too in getting a reduction.
