OK- but were you CURRENT when you last paid MBNA? Was the account past due, or frozen?

Go to my website, click on California, scroll to the bottom, there is a link to the e-mail address of a Ca lawyer.

At this point I would simply NOT reply to their letter, certified or not, it is NOT from a court filed case,it has, in my opinion NO LEGAL VALIDITY, and may very well be in violation of Ca VERY STRICT consumer protection laws.
