Dear Y-Chat:
As you know I had my Hearing for Summary Judgment this mornig.
Well, I did what you told me about the notice of appearance, and the judge gave me 20 calendar days to respond.
So the fact that I was not properly served is not an issue anymore.
I told him that I never received any documents about the repossesion and deficiency of the car.
Then he said they sent the papers, and showed me a paper saying they did, but they sent it to my ex-husband address. Also he said that I was supposed to notify them in writting about the change in address.
He also told me that it was not supposed to be sent by notified letter according to the UCC.
He also offer a settlement amount (half) and I denied it.
I don't know if I did good, I didn't want to do anything icncorrect.
When he was leaving he told me againg "Call me if you change your mind"
What do you suggest? I have 20 days now to respond, and I don't have anything to say.
