I just received the same type of letter from a Jason Kennedy at CAMCO. He first contacted me by phone alleging I owed $5800 from 1990, but did not have any info concerning origination of the debt. CAMCO received my name from FOURSCORE RESOURCE, whom I never heard of.

The letter now says I owe $10,978.68. It also said if I respond by letter, they will provide me with the name of the original creditor if different from the current one. What should I do?
Isn't there a statute of limitations? Don't they have to produce each signed credit card receipt to prove I charged the item? Thanks
