We are all here wondering what vicious credit problem will come up next.I have done hours of researching the laws concerning SOL for charge-off and collection efforts by those who may or may not understand that waking me up at 8AM is considered a hostile act. I work all night most nights.The collectors don't seem to know (or care)that the law is not on their side.They are so motivated by the hope that you will pay off a time-barred debt,that logic doesn't register with them.The whole thing is a game.If they supposedly follow the rules,they can harass you forever about a time-barred debt,hoping you can be intimidated into paying,and won't send a cease-comm letter .Whitewing puts inquiries on my report,for the purpose of lowering my score even though it is illegal.Pulling crdit reports on time -barred debts is also(supposedly)illegal.What I can't understand is why does this go on if it is so illegal ?These people are out to get you and the credit bureaus,all in the name of money ,I suppose, hope you don't notice that your score is now lowered by someone doing this illegally.Is it necessary that the law be broken a few thousand times a day ?It is basiclly you against the whole credit system. The laws are in your favor,but you have to sue for any fair treatment you could possibly receive.Your credit file isn't really yours.You could find surprises on your report and the credit bureaus are reluctant to remove negative information,even if it is placed there illegally.As I mentioned before,The whole credit system is a wretched game.
